May fishing has started off with some really nice fish and a big celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Everyone loves a good party and who doesn’t catch marlin when on vacation here in Puerto Vallarta. The stripers are still here, but with the weather warming up we are starting to see some black and blue marlin offshore. When the water passes 76 deg. mark we start seeing more and, more of these incredible pelagic fish. For the most part, these big guys are caught trolling lures and dead bait.
