Puerto Vallarta fishing report for July. Most of the Anglers coming down to fish in Puerto Vallarta know July is one of the best months to fish for the big game. We have huge Marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, and the most sought-after yellowfin tuna just to mention a few. If you’re looking for a big game action July is the month you want to be here. There is also some fantastic inshore fishing here in our bay.
The Puerto Vallarta rainy season has already started with light rains in the evenings almost every day. Occasionally we’ll have light rains in the morning, but usually, they clear up around 7 or 8 in the morning. Then we have beautiful skies for fishing either inshore or offshore. These rains that we have in the evenings have a couple of effects that really heat up the fishing here in Puerto Vallarta for the month of July. First and foremost, it brings in all kinds of bait closer which in turn brings in some of the bigger fish following the mullet, sardines, and skipjack tunas. This is great because we’ll be doing a lot of four and six-hour trips over the holidays like July 4th. It’s always a big celebration here in beautiful Puerto Vallarta for July 4th even though it’s traditionally not celebrated in Mexico. What we would like you to celebrate is the Fantastic fishing that we have during our summer months and July is one of the best months to fish here. When you’re coming down for summertime conditions you’ll just have to decide if you want to have some of the incredible Bay fishing or try your hand at going offshore for some of the really big fish that we catch here for the month of July. See our special rates for the month of July. There are several different ways that we fish for the big marlin, tuna, and mahi-mahi. We use pitch baits, kites, lures, and skip baits to bring these fish up in our spreads. We’ll be using some of our favorite places that we see year in and year out that produce these huge pelagic fish. El Morro is the closest of the places we like to fish it can be done in about 8 hours. One of the world’s most famous places the Corbetena and it produces some of the biggest fish of the year here. El Banco is another favorite where we catch some of the winning fish for the tournaments. Happens year after year. The huge pelagic fish live and feed there. The deep-sea fishing trip is 50 miles out and we need a 12 to 14-hour trip to get there and fish. This underground knoll is famous as it located in thousands of feet of water, then comes up to a low point of 50 ft. Fishing here is almost for sure you were going to come home with a trophy fish. The fishing spot just happens to be one of our favorite places the fish with 5 to 10 lbs. baits for these huge Marlin. Not uncommon to catch the huge Yellowfin their schooling as well. So this July if you’re looking for a fun time and a great place to fish for the day we got you covered inshore of offshore fishing.

Puerto Vallarta fishing
Puerto Vallarta fishing, what’s new? This last month we have had more fishermen than the last few months. I believe this is due to the number of people wanting to go fishing and the ones that have been vaccinated here and all over the world. The fantastic news is the fish are biting. This always happens around the time the rainy season starts. Most folks that come here think this is a bad thing. ” rainy season ” But it’s just the opposite. The light rains we have here up until October 15 helps the fishing tremendously. The pelagic fish move into the bay and offshore.
With all the bait moving in the bay and the water temperatures raising it’s normal for our fishing to increase. When fishing here in the summer months the water will be the dark cobalt blue we all love for offshore fishing. The water temperature will be all over the map. We will see temperatures reach almost 90 deg. The will also be thermoclines all over the bay holding tuna and other great-eating fish like the mahi-mahi.
This is the time of the year we find these fish schooling all over the bay.
With these favorable conditions, we start seeing mahi-Mahi, sailfish, marlin, and even nice tuna right here in the bay of flags.
The biggest changes for the last month in Puerto Vallarta fishing have had to do with covid 19. There are so many people coming and fishing it’s been hard to keep up with them. I recommend emailing us or call our toll-free number before coming down to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Please let us know if you have any questions before coming down to beautiful Puerto Vallarta Mexico.
We operate over 10 fishing vessels, but get so many requests it’s best to book before coming to the fishing grounds.
We most fishermen here being vaccinated, most anglers in the United States and Canada I’m sure we will be fishing every day.
This summer is a fantastic time to come and try your luck at one of the trophy fish we catch daily. The mahi-mahi will be here in full force and is one of the prized fish we catch. This is one of the best eating fish we catch. Most will be caught right here in the bay. The other pelagic fish every angler love to catch is the yellowfin tuna. Also caught right here in Puerto Vallarta bay. The sailfish and marlin are showing up in good numbers. There will be many caught this summer. Imagine having one of the huge fish on the line for several hours. of fun and excitement.
We are just getting started here in Puerto Vallarta fishing for our summer fishing. Let us know when you’re coming down and please let us be a part of your Mexican fishcation. You will be happy you did. Check out what others said about our fishing expertise and boats.
See you out there on the water this summer

April fishing report for Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
Here in Mexico when April rolls around most people are thinking about Easter. And why not. So many changes and celebrations around the Puerto Vallarta area. See what others said about our fishing report last month from tripadvisor.
In April the waters begin to warm and the fish start moving into the Puerto Vallarta bay as well as offshore. Will see several changes with our Puerto Vallarta fishing grounds. Not only will the water temperature be moving up, but will start seeing more schools of fish.
This happens every spring. Just about the time Easter happens.
What can I expect to catch? With the warming of the water the sailfish, marlin, and Mahi – Mahi will be more active. There will be plenty of fish to go around. Some will be offshore and some pelagic species will be inshore. Be sure and check prices in Puerto Vallarta fishing.
We get all kinds of questions during the month of April. The most common question is where we will fish. I always tell my clients if I knew where they would fish next month I would be on the cover of sports illustrated. I have a good idea with my 35 years of experience, but the darn fish keep moving around.
There are several factors That caused the fish to move from one place to another. The main reason fish move around is bait. If you can consistently find the bait balls this is where the fish will be feeding. This will keep you on top of the fish and all the rods bent on the boat. The other reason these fish move around is the water temperature. We check water temperatures before we even leave the dock. The other factor that most people don’t think about because of the water clarity. I pay a yearly fee for all our boats to have this info on hand. It’s called Terrifin and works beautifully. This is a fee we pay each month for this information that comes from the satellites.
With the information where the fish were biting the day prior that you fish with this, the water clarity, the water temperatures, and of course the bait moving. These are the most important factors in catching fish. We always put our clients on the fish here in beautiful Puerto Vallarta Mexico.
For a great charter in April give us a call or send us an email and let us know how many people are in your group when you becoming down so we can customize a special Fishing charter for you and your family.
Looking forward to seeing everybody out there on the water.
Wanna wish everybody a happy Easter

Puerto Vallarta fishing report summer time
Puerto Vallarta June fishing report is much better than the May fishing report. We have started off excellent this month. Dorado, Marlin, and sailfish have realized the bait is here inside the bay and offshore in abundance. Last month was not good as we were restricted from the Coronavirus. Most of the restrictions have been replaced with guidelines. All of our boats are conforming with the Mexican regulations and American required regulations for taking customers out deep-sea fishing. Safety first and then a fun time fishing.

Puerto Vallarta Fishing report May 2020
The Puerto Vallarta fishing report here for May. There’s not much to report and the way of fishing other than we see a lot more bait accumulating near in the bay and water temperature steadily rising. When you have accumulation of large baitballs and great feeding temperatures for the pelagic fish are in Puerto Vallarta, it only means one thing: great fishing.
