May fishing has started off with some really nice fish and a big celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Everyone loves a good party and who doesn’t catch marlin when on vacation here in Puerto Vallarta. The stripers are still here, but with the weather warming up we are starting to see some black and blue marlin offshore. There’s not much to report and the way of fishing other than we see a lot more bait accumulating near in the bay and water temperature steadily rising. With the entire Fishing World turned upside down everything still remains calm here and beautiful in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We still have not had any reported cases of the virus on the Bay of flags also known as Bahia de Banderas.
