There’s not much to report and the way of fishing other than we see a lot more bait accumulating near in the bay and water temperature steadily rising. When you have accumulation of large baitballs and great feeding temperatures for the pelagic fish are in Puerto Vallarta, it only means one thing: great fishing.

I get hundreds and hundreds of calls each month asking about what the weather is going to be in the summer months here in Puerto Vallarta. We are in rainy season during June to October so yes it’s going to rain. Here in the tropics we normally experience rains late afternoon or early evening and during the days the skies are sunny for fishing. Along with getting the boats ready for our charters in the morning we are also constantly watching the weather conditions in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. We’ve been in business here for over 35 years and have never had an accident or any weather related problems. We appreciate everyone calling and your calls are welcomed. Puerto Vallarta fishing report August 2018 is as hot as it gets. The fishing is up over the bay and incredible offshore. This last month in Puerto Vallarta Mexico saw some of the most fantastic fishing days of the summer. The August fishing report in Puerto Vallarta and the bay area like Nuevo Vallarta, Punya Mita and Sayulita will hold much of the same fishing action. The deep sea fishing had super days and some so-so days fishing but still landed much great fish. The best of the best top-notch fishing crews came to in fish the Corbetena and close by. The fantastic news is the blue water is close by and the incredible amount of bait that is showing up in the Puerto Vallarta bay fishing will keep the fishing hot for quite a while.

The Puerto Vallarta fishing has been off the charts. Inside the bay and offshore. The bite has been great for the 6 hrs. trips for families and the guys that want to go offshore hard core fishing here in Mexico. The best fishing in the bay has been for the California bonitas, Spanish mackerel, snapper, yellowtail and a few Mahi- Mahi. We had also had the pleasure of having the humpback whales along for all the trips. The kids love seeing the whales, but then we all do. If you live in Houston Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, or one of the other great places in the United States you don’t get to see the huge mammals every day. What a show they can put on. This is a big plus when fishng here in Puerto Vallarta.
